Website Changes
Newsflashes | OGO NEWS & MORE 05.04.2008 | Jack Stewart Ok, So I felt it was time again for a make over.. I know its only been a couple of months since the last one. But as myself & a few other staffers have been out getting feedback from our members. The websites functionality seemed to be one of the major things that kept coming up. So, I am dilligently working to try to improve things like interactivity, the forums, the picture posts, the user profiles, and a few other ins & outs. If you have any suggestions please hop over to the suggestions board in the forum & don't be shy about posting them! I want to make this a hub for information & entertainment!. Read more...
Vulkon Columbus Cancelled!
Newsflashes | OGO NEWS & MORE 01.04.2008 | Jack Stewart Reposted from A Blog we found: Got some disappointing news that Vulkon Columbus in May has been cancelled (due to bad ticket sales and also hotel scheduling issues). Pretty bad when you can only sell 50 tickets to a convention with Jamie Bamber, Brent Spiner, John Delancie, Gil Gerard and 4 other guests! I have spoken to Vulkon and they told me the Ohio area (especially Columbus has been hit hard in this downward spiral of the economy). They had over 600 people last year when we were there and they had Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks, John Billingsley, Cirroc Lofton and 4 other guests! We will be getting our refund for our tickets we bought shortly from Vulkon. Vulkon is not going out of business but concentrating in their home state of Florida. We were really looking forward to attending this one - but alas it has been cancelled. Original Blog found here: http://bworiginals.livejournal.com/ Read more...

Attention Gamers Get involved with Oi! Radio
Newsflashes | OGO NEWS & MORE 19.08.2007 | Nemo Sicking FROM NEMO: Some time ago we started working on an Internet Radio station for our Video Company we call Oi! Radio. Since then it has taken on a life of it's own and has become a group project with quite a few contributors. At its base the Oi! Radio project is a community based commercial free Internet Radio Station with a live broadcast feed that we are filling with programming in a way similar to a public access system. However, we have plans to turn it into something more than that by adding communities, interactive / personalized play lists and more. As a result we have this live feed we need content for. Being gamers we thought it would be a good idea to turn to the gaming community and ask for help in developing a show about RPing and Gaming in Northeast Ohio and/or Ohio as a whole. What we are looking for is two people willing to voluntarily host a weekly show approximately 1-2 hours in length. The qualified people should be Gamers that are/or have been involved in more than one game for longer than a year, familiar with more than one game system, likes to talk a lot about game (not just their character), once and a while be willing to go to games/conventions around Ohio and talk to STs, publishers, etc…. We would prefer someone from around Cleveland willing to get themselves to our studio in Cleveland Heights for their broadcast but this may not required depending of the formatting of the show. If you would be willing to be the person we are looking for please contact. Nemo Sicking - Nemo@omenindustries.com 216-509-0274 P.S. Don’t forget to listen to Oi! Radio. Our streams can be found at: www.omenindustries.com Read more...

Nickelodeon from Noon-3pm has Pre-empted all of its regulally schedualed programming with nothing but a giant logo of the Day of Play. Nick has done this to encourage Kids worldwide to get out & do something else besides just watch television. hmm Maybe more TV stations should do this...
